Captain Marvel looks like it could be filming in Louisiana, as Marvel Studios gears up for production on its first female-fronted movie. The film will star Brie Larson as Captain Marvel (also known as Carol Danvers, a fighter-pilot-turned-superhero). Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Meg LeFauve, and Nicole Perlman have written the script, with Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck lined up as the directors.
As Captain Marvel’s February 2018 production start date nears, the film’s cast is starting to come together.
