It turns out Kevin Feige had been planning the final scene in Spider-Man: Homecoming – when Aunt May discovers Spider-Man’s identity – for almost a decade. Many of the big moments that definite the Spider-Man character in comic book form have since made their way to the big screen, in one way or another (see, for example, Gwen Stacy being killed by the Green Goblin). With Spider-Man now a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s a safe bet that even more of his most famous moments will be translated to film soon.
