It’s been a heartbreaking year and a half for fans of the original Star Wars trilogy, beginning with the loss of Kenny Baker, the actor who embodied the lovable droid R2-D2, on August 13, 2016, at age 81; and the untimely death of Princess-turned-General Leia actor Carrie Fisher, who passed away at age 60 on December 27, 2016.
