The Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, celebrates Wonder Woman‘s Blu-ray release, excited to watch the movie again. Before Wonder Woman hit, some of the more common questions being thrown around were about whether mainstream audiences would react to a female-led superhero film from a filmmaker who hadn’t directed a feature in over a decade. Within the first couple of weeks of its release, the questions took a 180-degree turn: “Why aren’t there more female-led superhero films,” and “why wasn’t Patty Jenkins offered any major projects since Monster in 2003?”
