Frank Grillo is heading to Netflix with the release of the teaser trailer for the action-thriller Wheelman. 2017 may prove to be the year of the heist film. Edgard Wright kicked things off with his eccentric romantic-musical Baby Driver. The film continued the auteur’s critical streak while also earning him and Sony a sizable payday. Steven Soderbergh then followed things up with Logan Lucky, which has also been getting a fair amount of acclaim. Now, Grillo and Netflix will attempt to finish out the year with their take on the colorful profession.
On October 20, Netflix will continue its streak of releasing original films with the premiere of Wheelman.
