Wonder Woman reached three more domestic theatrical milestones over the weekend, including the an entry into the top 5 superhero movies of all time. Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot as the Amazon warrior princess, Wonder Woman is without question the biggest success story of the summer movie season, if not the entire year to date.
Opening with more than its $100 million opening weekend stateside in the first weekend of June, the film eventually eclipsed the $400 million mark at the domestic and international box offices and now has a running global tally of more than $813 million.
