The script for Doug Liman’s Live Die Repeat and Repeat is complete, and the only issue now is scheduling. Liman had previously worked alongside screenwriters Christopher McQuarrie, Jez Butterworth, and John-Henry Butterworth to bring Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill to life on the big screen in 2014. Although the film, titled Edge of Tomorrow, wasn’t quite the box office success that they wanted it to be, the adoring response from audiences and critics alike was convincing enough for them to pursue a sequel.
