Fast and the Furious actor Vin Diesel is in talks to star in Sony’s Bloodshot comic book movie, based on the Valiant superhero property. Sony has for several years had its sights set on launching a whole shared universe built around Valiant’s stable of 2,000 superhero characters. The studio first revealed back in 2016 that it would kick off its Valiant Universe with an adaptation of Harbinger. The Bloodshot character would reportedly receive an introduction in Harbinger, then get his own movie.
Created by Kevin VanHook and Yvel Guichet, the superhero Bloodshot first appeared in 1992. The character, a former soldier, possesses regeneration and shape-shifting powers via nano-machines in his bloodstream. ...
