Star Brie Larson has been spotted wearing a costume in new Captain Marvel set photos. Captain Marvel will serve as the first solo female superhero film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when it arrives in 2019, nearly eleven years after the release of the first Iron Man movie. In addition to serving as Marvel Studios’ first solo female superhero vehicle, Captain Marvel will also feature Marvel’s first female (co) director, Anna Boden, who will work alongside Ryan Fleck from a script by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Meg LeFauve, and Nicole Perlman.
