There is something strange going on in Hollywood, because Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has just overtaken Wonder Woman at the worldwide box office.
Welcome to the Jungle is a partial continuation of the beloved 1995 Jumanji movie and stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan. The film has earned largely positive reviews from critics and has been making headlines ever since it hit theaters back in December. That’s in no small thanks to the movie’s stellar run at the box office – one that has now seen it surpass one of the most talked about (if not the most talked about) superhero tentpoles of 2017, commercially speaking.
