Tommy Wiseau claims that there’s a 3D version of The Room coming out. At this point, it’s hard to really make this movie’s journey any more bizarre. But perhaps converting such a stunningly bad midnight cinema classic into a 3D format could achieve that. In light of the success of James Franco’s The Disaster Artist, The Room’s profile has never been higher than it is now.
Still, it’s not like The Room became a visual spectacle overnight. In fact, it’s still spectacularly terrible. But much like it became one of the most improbably re-watchable movies in recent memory, perhaps The Room 3D would be even more fun ...
