Jaimie Alexander says the reason she wasn’t able to appear in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok was due to scheduling conflicts with her role on NBC’s Blindspot. The actress first appeared as the comic book character Lady Sif in Kenneth Branagh’s 2011 film, Thor. She reprised her role in Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World in 2013 and on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during the series’ first season in 2014, and then again during the show’s second season in 2015. However, she’s remained absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since.
