Hugh Jackman jokes about finally putting on the yellow Wolverine costume for Halloween this season, after spending years avoiding bright-colored superhero suit. The Australian actor made his debut as James “Logan” Howlett, aka Wolverine, in Bryan Singer’s 2000 film, X-Men. He continued to play the regenerative-mutant throughout 20th Century Fox’s X-Men franchise (from 2000 to 2017), appearing in each and every installment (with the exception of Tim Miller’s Deadpool), until he officially retired his claws earlier this year in James Mangold’s critically-acclaimed film, Logan.
