Tom Cruise has returned to the Mission Impossible 6 set after an ankle injury that happened in early August. The film star injured himself while performing a building jumping stunt. Director Christopher McQuarrie explained the injury after it occurred, praising the star’s commitment to keeping the scene intact. The stunt was apparently supposed to picture Cruise jumping from rooftop to rooftop until he slammed into the side of the building to create an “interesting” scene.
