Mark Hamill has expressed interest in joining Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and it looks like director James Gunn is on board as well. The threequel is still in the early stages of development, with filming not expected to begin until early next year as it reportedly targets a summer 2020 release date. The Guardians will be onscreen plenty in the meantime, of course, as they’re set to appear in both Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel.
