Among the “secret” Marvel projects being developed by Fox is a Silver Surfer solo movie that Runaways and Y: The Last Man comic book creator Brian K. Vaughn is writing. A film starring the metalloid space traveler is something that no less than Stan “The Man” Lee has expressed a desire to see, with Lee referring to Silver Surfer as “the most philosophical” of all the comic book characters that he’s worked on. Back in 2012, there were even rumors that Marvel Studios was trying to barter for the movie rights to the Surfer and his master Galactus, in exchange for the film rights to Daredevil.
