Zack Snyder has liked a social media post that suggests Joss Whedon exiting the Batgirl standalone film is a positive development for the DC Extended Universe. The director’s relationship with the franchise he helped launch is rather difficult to say the least. Despite having their fair share of supporters, both Man of Steel and Batman V Superman were extremely polarizing due to their interpretations of the titular pop culture icons. But that was nothing in comparison to what happened on Justice League, which Snyder stepped down from last year following a personal tragedy. Sold to audiences as Snyder’s vision, the Justice League we got was anything but.
