Mind-Blowing Special Effects of Manchester By The Sea (Parody) #movienews

Kenneth Lonergan’s Manchester by the Sea succeeded brilliantly for a number of reasons — namely, Casey Affleck’s Oscar-winning performance. But even beyond Affleck, the film was packed with nuanced performances from three-dimensional characters working off of Lonergan’s script, which also won on Oscar night. Beauty and the Beast Clip: No One’s Slick as Gaston #movienews

As Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast creeps ever closer to its opening weekend more and more clips have been emerging. Many of the clips are from the live-action versions of the original animated film’s iconic musical numbers. That includes the opening sequence ‘Belle’, with Emma Watson strolling through the movie’s version of the French countryside, as well as Emma Thompson, as Mrs. Potts, singing the eponymous song.

Disney has now released another musical clip from the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast. The one is from the song ‘Gaston’ and largely focuses on  Josh Gad (Frozen) as Le Fou, singing his own verses from the larger musical number.

Marvel’s Luke Cage Account Responds to Mahershala Ali & Moonlight Wins #movienews

There were a few hiccups along the way but at the end of Oscar night, Barry Jenkins’ stirring coming-of-age drama Moonlight came out one of the biggest winners, garnering three awards including Best Picture (though Warren Beatty still isn’t sure about that). One of Moonlight‘s stars, Mahershala Ali, took home the award for Best Supporting Actor and a lot of viewers were left wondering, “Who is Mahershala Ali?”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Trailer Teaser: Tomorrow, Get Ready #movienews

Marvel is all set for a spectacular year at the cinema. After debuting in Captain America: Civil War, Spidey will finally be getting his own solo film set in the MCU when Spider-Man: Homecoming premieres this summer. Oscars 2017 Broadcast Ratings Dip Again #movienews

Last night, millions tuned in live to witness the 89th annual Academy Awards ceremony, more commonly referred to as simply The Oscars. As usual, the event was a star-studded affair, brimming with A-list talent from both in front of and behind the camera. First time host Jimmy Kimmel stepped up to the Oscars plate, and by most accounts did pretty well, despite his self-deprecating jokes about not being asked back.
