In just a little over a month, Marvel Studios will drop their third film in Phase 3 and the long awaited sequel to their most surprising hit. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has been atop many most anticipated lists for this year and its prime release date should allow for the movie to be far more successful than its predecessor. The reasoning behind this can be attributed to not only the fan interest in these odd characters, but also thanks to a marketing campaign that has done its job in generating excitement while not revealing too much.
With the release drawing even closer and the anticipation being so high, there has already been early projections of a $160 million opening weekend domestically. This would certainly mean that theaters during this three day window will be packed full of Marvel faithful, potentially leading to sold out theaters. Luckily for those concerned ...
