Right as Deadpool came to a close, the very first tease for who would make an appearance in Deadpool 2 happened. While mocking Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Deadpool confirmed that the time-traveling mutant known as Cable would appear in the sequel. Since that point, there have been a number of actors thought to be in contention for the role. Some names were purely from fan-casts, while others were legitimately reported to be in consideration, but the sequel is still without its newest star.
