Sony Pictures began the next phase in its marketing push for Spider-Man: Homecoming last week, by releasing three new Homecoming posters that further emphasize that the web-slinger’s latest live-action film is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The studio will release the second theatrical trailer for Homecoming online tomorrow, as a newly-released teaser for the trailer (see above) has now confirmed.
Spider-Man: Homecoming picks up with Peter Parker (now played by Tom Holland) following the events of Captain America: Civil War, with Peter having to readjust to life as a seemingly ordinary high schooler by day and superhero on the side, after having fought side by side (or, in some cases, against) members of The Avengers. It won’t be all teen drama for Pete in Homecoming though, as the young superhero winds up battling a handful of new supervillains; The Vulture (Michael Keaton) being chief among them.
