Warner Bros officially launched their DC Comics Extended Universe last year with the debut of Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – the semi-followup to Man of Steel in 2013 – which featured Henry Cavill’s return as Clark Kent aka Superman.
