Two new videos for The Dark Tower teases multiple connections to more of Stephen King’s work. The Dark Tower is set to arrive in theaters next month, starring Idris Elba as Roland, the Gunslinger, and Matthew McConaughey as The Man in Black. Spanning seven novels, plus short stories and a tie-in comic book series, The Dark Tower has rightly been described as King’s Magnum Opus. The Dark Tower director, Nikolaj Arcel, seems to have taken this on board, too, dotting references to more of King’s work in the first Dark Tower trailer.
King is the master when it comes to connecting his stories to one another.
