Smallville veteran Alan Ritchson is having some fun with fans on Twitter, as he suggests he would like a return trip to the DC Universe, this time in the guise of Shazam – who is scheduled to join the DC Extended Universe with a solo film directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out), in 2019.
Ritchson is a well known face to DC fans. The actor portrayed Aquaman on the long running Superman prequel series Smallville. The later seasons of that show saw the development of a sort of makeshift Justice League, bringing in the likes of Green Arrow and The Flash as well.
