Hayley Atwell is open to reprising her role as Peggy Carter moving forward, and even wants to star in her own movie. Atwell has been a staple in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Phase 1 and has even played a major role in Captain America’s arc in the modern day. Much of that could be attributed to her instantly becoming a fan-favorite in Captain America: The First Avenger, but the 1940s setting resulted in her having diminished roles in the films moving forward.
