Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi crossed $600 million at the worldwide box office, thus propelling Walt Disney Studios past $6 billion globally for 2017. So far, 2017’s box office totals have been down by at least 2 percent compared to last year’s record-breaking haul.
