The first trailer for the upcoming Batman & Harley Quinn film has finally arrived. In a truly unexpected turn of events too, the film is the next title set to be released from the animated side of Warner Bros.’ DC projects, as it brings together its unlikely titular duo on a mission to bring down some of Gotham City’s most notorious criminals. Warner Bros. isn’t pulling any punches with Batman & Harley Quinn either, after not only casting Big Bang Theory star, Melissa Rauch, as Harley Quinn but also bringing back Kevin Conroy to play The Dark Knight yet again.
Capitalizing on the current overwhelming popularity of the Harley Quinn character, the film is being sold so far as more of a parody on classic 1980s buddy cop films than a traditional comic book adaptation.
