The highly-anticipated Godzilla vs. Kong film has landed Adam Wingard as director. After years of remaining dormant, Warner Bros. revived the Godzilla franchise three years ago with Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla film, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Ken Watanabe, and Bryan Cranston. The movie ended up becoming the first installment in the studio’s newly formed MonsterVerse, which now includes the iconic monster King Kong.
Earlier this year, Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Kong: Skull Island released, starring Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, and John C. Reilly, among others. In addition to introducing King Kong, the film included Mother Longlegs, Psychovulture, Spore Mantis, and more. ...
