Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that she auditioned for the role on X-23 in director James Mangold’s Logan. As those who have seen Logan are well-aware the role of Laura aka. X-23 was instead filled by Brown’s fellow young breakout star Dafne Keen, whose feral presence combined with her diminutive stature has made for one of the most compelling performances in a comic book movie in recent memory.
Many viewers were likewise taken with Brown’s turn as the enigmatic Eleven in the surprise hit Netflix original series Stranger Things, and many more have noted more than a few striking similarities between Eleven and the version of Laura/X-23 featured in Logan.
