It seems Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson may yet star in The Wolfman movie reboot, as part of Universal’s newly-announced Dark Universe franchise. Universal officially dubbed its rebooted monster cinematic universe the Dark Universe earlier this month, with June’s The Mummy reboot – starring Tom Cruise as soon-to-be-cursed treasure hunter Nick Morton and Sofia Boutella as The Mummy herself, Princess Ahmanet – set to serve as the first official entry in the Dark Universe, followed by director Bill Condon’s Bride of Frankenstein reboot in 2019.
