More information has been revealed about the release of the upcoming DC Comics Batman & Harley Quinn animated film. The popularity of female heroes, anti-heroes, and villains has skyrocketed since actress Margot Robbie portrayed the unhinged character Harley Quinn in last year’s Suicide Squad. And that popularity looks as though it will continue to rise with the upcoming worldwide release of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, which is already receiving rave reviews, and the upcoming Suicide Squad spinoff based on Gotham City Sirens featuring Quinn, Cat Woman, and Poison Ivy.
