Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has just surpassed $800 million at the global box office. After spending two weeks at the top of the charts in terms of domestic theatrical releases since its premiere earlier this month, the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is already a success and has Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in development, with returning writer/director James Gunn attached.
