Justice League‘s box office haul continues to disappoint as the superhero team-up movie is no longer expected to top Man of Steel‘s global gross. Warner Bros. launched their unofficially titled DC Extended Universe with Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016 – a follow-up to the filmmaker’s 2013 movie, Man of Steel – and continued expanding the newly-formed shared universe with David Ayer’s Suicide Squad and Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, but everything has been leading up to the release of Justice League.
