With only a few months before we see Pacific Rim Uprising, a Japanese poster of the main Jaeger has been posted on social media to hype up the much-anticipated sequel. It shows some stylish artwork of the latest US Mecha, and it confirms that the creatures from the Anteverse – the homeworld of the Kaiju – will be facing some real-life anime resistance.
The sequel takes place 10 years after the climactic battle to close the inter-dimensional breach in Pacific Rim. During that fight, the US Jaeger Gipsy Danger was sacrificed to enable victory, although her pilots – Raleigh Becket (Charlie Hunnam) and Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi) – managed to survive intact. ...
