Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is gushing over how a cosplayer dressed up as her at a recent fan convention. The past year has been amazing for Jenkins, whose superhero blockbuster Wonder Woman took the world by storm when it released last summer. The DCEU’s origin story for Amazon princess was a landmark film in many respects, beginning with its opening weekend in June 2017 in which it earned more than $100 million domestically and set biggest opening ever for a female director.
