Warner Bros. is moving forward with Batgirl and bringing Bumblebee writer Christina Hodson on to handle the script. WB is looking for the best way to move the DC Films universe forward post-Justice League, and they’re doing so under new leadership from Walter Hamada. They’ve got a few projects lined up right already, but the future beyond Wonder Woman 2 isn’t set in stone yet. One of the properties that was thought to be a big priority was a solo movie for Barbara Gordon. However, Batgirl took a big step back when writer/director Joss Whedon left earlier this year.
