Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 may be the next Marvel Studios movie on fan’s minds, but their most recent release, Doctor Strange still has one last important debut ahead of it – home video. Later this month, the Master of Mysticism will be available in the standard digital, DVD, and Blu-Ray formats, and fortunately for fans, this means the studio has to find all new and fun ways to sell the film to us a second time around.
Even for the increasingly oddball Marvel films, Doctor Strange stands out as a particularly unique piece of cinema. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) as the titular Sorcerer Supreme, Tilda Swinton (Hail, Caesar!), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), and Rachel McAdams (Spotlight), the film features an interdimensional threat, which the heroes can only battle by magically bending the rules of time and space.
