The next few years look to be saturated in X-Men content. There’s Legion, which premieres on FX next month. Fox’s own mutant series set in the X-Men universe will also start filming in March, and presumably release in 2018. On the film front, there’s a New Mutants movie on the horizon and the story that started with First Class will continue in X-Men: Supernova. The latter film was just given a synopsis and it will once again cover the story of Jean Grey becoming the Phoenix. While the main franchise prepares to loop back on itself, next month’s Logan will be a beast of its own.
