The Transformers franchise has continued to grow over the past decade ever since Michael Bay kicked off this universe. While the general reactions to these films have continued to decline, the box office returns have continued to climb. This escalated in a big way when Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Transformers: Age of Extinction dominated international markets to help gross north of $1 billion each. Now, they are hoping that Transformers: The Last Knight will repeat that success.

Much like the films that have come before, The Last Knight will feature the humans and Transformers at odds with each other, but also a divide within the Autobots themselves. The first trailer concluded with longtime friends Optimus Primes and Bumblebee fighting, with the reasoning hinted at in the latest synopsis. The second trailer was set to be attached to the Super Bowl, and now the extended look has arrived.
