Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins responds to James Cameron’s criticism of the film. Earlier today, a sizable portion of the internet went into a collective uproar concerning said comments made by Cameron, arguably one of the most famous directors in the world today. Cameron took issue with what he saw as “back-patting” by Hollywood over Wonder Woman’s status as a strong female hero, arguing that Diana was still an “objectified icon.”
