Jordan Peele plans to begin production on his second directorial effort later this year. In 2017, Peele emerged as a filmmaking force with a unique voice thanks to the success of Get Out. Receiving universal critical acclaim and $255 million at the worldwide box office, the horror flick was one of the best offerings of the year, picking up several accolades on the awards circuit. In addition to a Best Picture nod at the Oscars, Peele himself earned nominations in Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya is also in the Best Actor field.
