Brie Larson’s solo MCU movie Captain Marvel will be an action-comedy according to its screenwriter. As Marvel Studios closes out Phase 3, they will finally do something fans have long been asking for. It’s taken a while, but the studio is finally releasing a female solo movie. They’ve attached Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson to lead, which will reportedly mark her MCU debut – barring a surprise cameo in Avengers: Infinity War. The movie also features Marvel’s first female director, as Anna Boden is co-directing alongside Ryan Fleck.
