After 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and ahead of Avengers: Infinity War, IMAX has released a preview in conjunction with Marvel Studios to celebrate their illustrious relationship.
While IMAX is currently held as the gold standard of movie making, it really hit the big time thanks to Christopher Nolan’s use on Warner Bros.’ The Dark Knight. The MCU may have been a little slower than its DC counterparts to catch up, but these days, everything from Iron Man 2 to Black Panther has looked that little bit better when supersized on an IMAX screen. Looking back over the history of the MCU, it is only Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and Captain America: The First Avenger that went with a standard theatrical release, which has undoubtedly left fans missing out.
