Iron Man officially makes Spider-Man the newest Avenger in new footage for Avengers: Infinity War. Spider-Man is still a relatively new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe following a groundbreaking deal between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios. But Tom Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker has already been infused into the MCU, making two appearances in two years. Captain America: Civil War introduced him into the MCU and Spider-Man: Homecoming gave him a coming of age story, but it’ll be Infinity War that really shows him in all his glory.
It’s already been shown that Peter will don the new Iron Spider costume Tony presented him with at the end of Homecoming, and he’ll use it in his travels across the galaxy with the Avengers.
