Kingsman: The Secret Service was one of the surprise hits of early 2015. Directed by Matthew Vaughn and adapted from Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ graphic novel called The Secret Service, the film borrowed a great deal from the James Bond mythos — the tuxedos especially — while exercising a shocking amount of audacity in regards to sex and violence. Starring Taron Egerton, Mark Strong and Colin Firth, the film earned over $400 million worldwide.
