Despite the rapid expansion of the DC Extended Universe, many fans are still disappointed that key members of the Justice League will not be present in their first theatrical outing this year. This is particularly true of Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter. Green Lantern Corps. is currently scheduled for a 2020 release, and is expected to include both Hal Jordan and John Stewart’s iterations of the characters. Unfortunately for fans of J’onn J’onzz (a.k.a. Martian Manhunter), it seems like the team’s resident shapeshifter may be relegated to the Supergirl television series for the foreseeable future.
