One of the Avengers: Infinity War directors says that Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel will not be making an appearance in the film next year. The news comes following the San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, where Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios revealed some of the first creative details about the 2019 Captain Marvel solo film. Not only was Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury confirmed to be appearing in the movie, but much to the excitement of Marvel fans everywhere, Feige also revealed that Captain Marvel will be set in the 1990s and will finally introduce the legendary Skrulls into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
