The first trailer for director Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water is on its way. In terms of celebrated modern-day filmmakers, there are few who have the same kind of intense fan following that del Toro has – one that has only grown more and more with the director’s reputation over the years. While del Toro’s last film, 2015’s gothic horror Crimson Peak, was met with some divisive reactions by both critics and fans alike, the filmmaker is set to return to the big screen again this year, with his newest R-rated cinematic venture in The Shape of Water.
