Matt Reeves has discussed how he is taking some pointers from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy and use them as inspiration for his own take on the Caped Crusader, The Batman. Nolan’s three-part series (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises) was headlined by Christian Bale as Batman/Bruce Wayne, before Ben Affleck took on the role as part of the DC Extended Universe.
