Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige reveals the current plan is to give Spider-Man a 5-movie storyline in the MCU, alternating between massive Avengers crossover events and his own solo series. After years of fans hoping, Your Friendly Neighborhood is officially part of the mega franchise thanks to an unprecedented agreement between Sony and Marvel. The studios wasted no time in taking full advantage of the perks. Peter Parker made his (technically) first appearance in last year’s Captain America: Civil War and leads a standalone vehicle in the form of this week’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tom Holland has earned raves for his interpretation of Peter, and so far the partnership has yielded excellent results.
